Santa Teresita School has proudly served the community of Boyle Heights since 1950. Our families come from homes with two working parents to homes headed by single parents. Thirty-five percent of our children live in neighboring Ramona Gardens Housing Developments, while others come from the surrounding neighborhood or commute from nearby communities. More than 90% of our families require some level of need-based financial aid to make a Catholic education possible for their children.
Regardless of their socioeconomic background, our families share a common bond: high hopes and aspirations for their children. Our families look to Santa Teresita School not only for Catholic teaching and moral education, but also for an excellent academic education, some to give their children better opportunities.
Santa Teresita School is dedicated to its mission of providing a Christian and academic education for children in a nurturing learning environment. However, the fulfillment of this important mission requires partnerships with individuals, foundations and corporations that share our desire to provide children with a brighter future through education.
